Tis the season for holiday parties!

This year the Dream Team’s holiday party was hosted by LB and she only required that we bring one thing: our favorite drink.

Since I didn’t have the stress of worrying about cooking something, I figured I might as well go all out on the drink. After all, I do have my bartending license (I told ya’ll I take classes for everything LOL) And since I absolutely loooove me some Sangria and we all love wine, it seemed like the perfect choice.

Believe it or not, this was my very first time making one!

So, after mixing and matching what I found on google with my favorite ingredients, I came up with this super simple recipe:

1 bottle of Shiraz

.5 bottle of Malbec

1 cup of Grand Marnier

1/2 cup of Triple Sec

1.5 cups of Orange Juice

2 Tbsp of Sugar

Apple slices, Strawberries, Raspberries & Blackberries

The best part?! It literally only took about 15 minutes to cut and wash the fruit and mix the ingredients.

Here’s what I did:
I mixed all the ingredients together and let it stand in a tightly sealed container for 3 hours in the refrigerator. If you’re making this for a family/friends party (and it’s ok for everyone to be tipsy)  you can let it sit for up to 24 hours before serving. **When you’re ready to serve, add sprite, shake and serve.

One thing that’s important to remember is to add the ingredients that YOU like. Use this as a guide to come up with your own creative combo! Here’s a great blog with another example and details on how to choose which wine to use! Read the blog + get some ideas here.

I’d love to see your WERK! When you try this recipe, be sure to post a pic and tag me @Koereyelle so I can see!!
